MOSSY CREEK

Where quiet luxury meets the woods. A five-bedroom retreat overlooking the Laurel Fork Creek — built for slowing down.

A woman standing in a kitchen with a black shirt and light jeans, surrounded by white cabinets, a wall shelf, a window, and three decorative chandeliers hanging from a wooden ceiling.

Tucked into the trees along Laurel Fork Creek, this five-bedroom, three-bath home blurs the line between inside and out — organic shapes, natural wood, earthy stone, and finishes that feel like an extension of the landscape around them. It's luxurious without being formal. Peaceful without being remote. The kind of place that makes you want to put your phone down.

This isn't a rustic cabin. It's a home for slowing down, with the kind of quiet only a dirt road and an abundance of trees can give you.

Our past homes have been thoughtful updates — properties brought back to life and reimagined for real living. Mossy Creek marks the next step: our first fully custom build, designed from the ground up with that same heart. It's being brought to life by builder Matt Kepley.

The Mossy Creek Experience

Mornings here start slow — coffee by the creek before the day gets going. The kitchen fills with people the way a good kitchen should. Evenings move to the porch. In between, there's a whole forest to explore, trails to hike, and a creek to sit beside until you remember what quiet actually sounds like.

Every detail at Mossy Creek was chosen with intention. Warm wood ceilings and avocatus quartzite set the tone throughout, with a sage-green exterior and a mahogany front door welcoming you in.

Inside, a forest-green and cream kitchen pairs green natural-stone countertops with champagne-bronze details, grounded by travertine tile. Nothing here feels accidental — it's a home designed the way it's meant to be lived in.

Thoughtful Design

Life At Mossy Creek

A dense forest with tall trees and green foliage, sunlight filtering through the trees, creating patches of light and shadow on the forest floor.

Indoor-Outdoor Living

A 10-foot accordion door opens the entire back of the home to the porch and the landscape beyond — turning the living space into an extension of the woods themselves. Open it up, and inside and outside stop being two different things.

Windows to the Woods

Oversized 6-by-4-foot windows frame the forest from nearly every room, filling the home with natural light and putting the view front and center — whether you're at the kitchen island or waking up to the trees.

Bedrooms

5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms give Mossy Creek plenty of room to gather without losing privacy. In the kitchen, warm maple countertops add comfort and character, a nod to the natural materials found throughout the home.

Location

Mossy Creek sits on a quiet dirt road, surrounded by hiking trails and framed by forest on every side — but you're never far from more to do.
